Constantino’s Italian Kitchen
Grandma-approved. Crowd-loved.
Christopher Constantino was never great at art, but if the medium is cooking, he excels! Constantino’s Italian Kitchen specializes in classic and modern Italian dishes using recipes that have been in his family for five generations.
On a mission to be his own boss, Constantino got his start by selling his family’s sauces at farmer’s markets. In 2016, Constantino took the leap to open his food truck to expose his family sauces to a wider audience.
The sauce that started it all, Grandma Angie's Tomato Basil, combines the sweetness of tomatoes and peppery Italian basil, with a sauteed base of aromatic fresh carrots, onions, and garlic. A recipe that his grandma learned from her grandmother, an heirloom with at least five generations in their family.
Constantino learned to cook at an early age, which laid the foundation for him to go to culinary school to formalize his passions in the kitchen. Chef raves about his Bolognese, made with American Kobe beef, Italian sausage, herbs, a red wine reduction, cream, and tomato. Though the top-seller is Chicken Alfredo.
Constantino says the best part of his job is cooking for people, developing new menu items, and interacting with the public and meeting new people. "I want them to love the food, enjoy the food, tell their friends about it, come back”
