As a kid, Derek would visit Taiwan during the summer to see his family and enjoy the cultural foods. Growing up in upstate NY he realized these were the flavors that were missing, not only in this city but all over the US. Soon after Little Ding’s launched, completing his childhood dream of helping spread Taiwanese cuisine to others.
