The Story

At 12, Jorge Llapur arrived during the Cuban Exodus to Florida. “Let’s go with a dream and make it happen,” said Jorge Llapur, who with friends Enrique Santos and Isaac Sklar opened Cuban Guys. As a dentistry student, Llapur dreamed of sharing Cuban cuisine globally. His American dream has come true. What began as a local operation has grown into multiple locations across Miami-Dade, but the focus has stayed the same. Fast, approachable Cuban food, served with consistency and a sense of familiarity.
