The Story

From Virginia to Alabama, Evelyn Ponce brings the flavors she grew up with to Las Latinas Kitchen, inspired by her mother’s Salvadoran cooking and a love of feeding others. What started as a personal connection to home has grown into a team effort, with close friends helping bring her vision to life. 

The menu pulls from across Latin America, with dishes like birria tacos and fajitas that reflect both tradition and the people behind them; all served with the same intention it started to share good food with the community. 

 

Sample Menu

Tacos

chicken, birria, steak (asada), or Hawaiian chicken with cilantro, onion, house-made salsas on soft corn tortillas

Fajitas

chicken or steak, sautéed peppers and onions, warm tortillas, lettuce, sour cream, and cheese

Quesadillas

cheese, chicken, or birria, melted cheese in a grilled flour tortilla, served with rice and beans
