The Story
From the team behind Zaikka, Rolling Grub takes a more Asian-leaning approach, focusing on rice bowls, street-style plates, and fast, satisfying meals built to order. After years in finance, Sandeep Nagpal made the shift to cooking, trading spreadsheets for the food he grew up with in New Delhi.
What started over 15 years ago turned into multiple restaurants before he scaled things back to focus on a more flexible setup, one that lets him stay close to both the food and his family now leading the Rolling Grub concept reflects years in the kitchen and a shift toward something more flexible, both in format and menu. Rice, protein, sauce, and toppings that come together without overthinking it. Familiar flavors, easy combinations, and a setup that works just as well for a quick lunch as it does for a full meal.
