The Story
Lauren and Nelson Saravia knew exactly how to spend their 2015 tax refund. Long days working in food and bev, they fantasized about relaxing on a beach, eating fresh, healthy, food. She’s from Southern Florida, he from El Salvador and together they created Tropic Truck whose menu imparts that laid back tropical feeling combining Hispanic Caribbean flavors with familiar foods. Now with running three trucks, you can say, The Tropic Truck took LA by storm––the good kind that is.
