 Field Notes

  1. Favorite kind of chaos: The controlled kind. Opening days, event days, and launch days. The kind where everyone has a role, everyone jumps in, and somehow it all comes together

  2. What he fights for: Thoughtful work, people notice when something has been built with care

  3. What he believes food can do: Food becomes part of our memories. We remember where we were, who we were with, and what life felt like at that moment. Great food has a way of celebrating time, place, culture, and the people we share it with

  4. Biggest quiet power moment: Seeing an idea go from a whiteboard conversation to something people use every day

  5. The moment that mattered most: Being part of the Fontainebleau Las Vegas opening team. It showed me what it takes to build something from the ground up and gave me an appreciation for every detail that goes into creating an experience people remember

  6. Biggest lesson learned in the field: The people closest to the work almost always have the best perspective. Listening first usually leads to better ideas

  7. Most unexpected tool in his toolkit: Curiosity

  8. His playlist: Music that’s immersive and a little unexpected. If it makes me stop and think, chances are it’ll end up on a playlist

  9. Rally phrase: Let’s make this bread

  10. Coffee order / coping mechanism: Iced Americano. A little vanilla syrup. No frills, all caffeine

  11. Nickname on the ground: Chase is on the case
