The Story

CaliBurger is rewriting the rulebook for fast food. Unlike typical chains that start in the U.S. and expand globally, CaliBurger did the reverse, launching in China and the Middle East before opening its first U.S. location at the University of Washington in 2018. Even more interesting? Caliburger is utilizing co-founder John Miller’s robot brainchild ’Flippy’ to systematically serve up their burgers, fries, and shakes with absolute consistency.
