A Sandwich Shop for All

The Fat Shallot was started by husband and wife, Sam Barron and Sarah Weitz, in 2013 when the couple returned to the windy city after a time spent backpacking across the world and working in hospitality. Weitz and Barron bring delicious, made-to-order sandwiches. “We are food for everybody,” said Sarah Weitz, co-founder of The Fat Shallot. “But we (offer) the best version of that sandwich that you’ll ever get.”
