Willy Dely
Director of Operations, Eastern US
Strategist. Dynamo. Food Truck Diplomat.
Willy Dely brings more than two decades of experience to his role as Director of Operations for the Eastern Region. Originally from France, Willy began his career in physical therapy before trading textbooks for apron strings. From quick service kitchens to fine dining restaurants, he’s worked every station in the house - and learned exactly what to do no matter the challenge.
After moving to the U.S., Willy became a champion for the mobile food industry. He founded and served as the first President of the Maryland Food Truck Association, collaborating with policymakers to craft legislation that supported both mobile food vendors and restaurants. That same mix of grit, advocacy, and big-picture thinking has been instrumental to his work at Food Fleet, where he’s helped expand the company’s footprint throughout the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast, Tristate, New England, and into Canada.
Willy has grown Food Fleet’s partner network from a few dozen to several thousand trusted partners. He’s launched programs at everything from major sporting venues to intimate campus events, and he’s the calm at the center of every high-pressure rollout. Whether he’s speaking French, food, or fire code, Willy makes things happen - and remarkably makes it look easy.
