5411 is the international dialing code for Buenos Aires. Empanadas are ubiquitous in Argentina, savored at elegant cocktail parties, at futbol matches, and at the Casa Rosada -transcending socio-economic status. Argentinian empanadas are baked, are smaller than others, and use thinner dough making them a healthier option. Founder, Nicolas Ibarzabal, says, “empanadas are symbolic of sharing in community” and they wanted to bring a bit of that to Chicago!
